TRIP SUMMARY

This far-ranging water shed of Tuul River with fishing guide and supported by UTV. Then you cast in wilderness of upper Tuul river valley, the highest and the most beautiful and the closest area from Terelj Hotel. Next you fish along to mellow rapids of Tuul river. 2 passenger UTV (Polaris ) for driving through large marshy valleys and fishing equipment and waders are provided and expert fishing guide will be accompanied.  You’ll have chance to catch trout, grayling and watching for wild boar, moose while learning more about this amazing part of Mongolia, due to isolation we will stay in expedition tents.

ITINERARY

Day 1.  Drive to upper Terelj valley via your UTV, arrive in camp site (approximate riding time is 3-4 hours), start casting in Tuul river, overnight in tents.

Day 2. Fishing day, spend this full day fishing in Tuul river, (walking and riding on UTV), camp on the way nearby river, overnight in tents. (Tented camp; B, L, D)

Day 3. Fishing day, continue your fishing in the morning, transfer back to Terelj Hotel in the afternoon (2 hours),

Casting for Taimen in Eastern Mongolia

TRIP SUMMARY
Spend 6 days in major river in Eastern Mongolia for catching and releasing endangered “Taimen”, on the way visit to some ancient tombs and other nature attractions of Mongolia.

ITINERARY

Day 1.  Binder village/ Onon river

Arrive at Binder ( 4-5 hours )  village and transfer to private ger that locates next to Onon river, this camp site is chosen by local fishing guides and it will be a hub for fishing,  evening opportunity for fishing for taimen , overnight in gers. (Private Ger Camp; B, L,D)

Day 2-8. Fishing in Onon river

Spend those 6 days on Onon river, every day transfer to Onon river for fishing and evening transfer to base camp for dinner and overnight. Some of those days we visit to local nomad family and opportunity to ride horses along river valleys and fine tree covered mountains. Overnight in your private gers. (Private Ger Camp; B, L, D)

Day 8. Baldan Bereeven Monastery/ Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast head towards to Ulaanbaatar, on the way to stop for picnic lunch nearby Baldan Bereeven Monastery, overnight in Terelj Hotel. ( Terelj Hotel; B, L, D)

Day 9. Departure

After breakfast transfer to airport for departure to your home. (B;)
