Hotel overview

Terelj Hotel

Mongolia's first 5 star resort hotel is located on the borders of Gorkhi-Terelj National Park and the Khaan Khentii Strictly Protected Area, 50 km north of the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar.

Located near the birthplace of Chinggis (Genghis) Khaan, “the great unifier”, the newly renovated resort was originally built as a summer camp for the Soviets. Still reminiscent of a 19th century country palace in design and boasting 52 luxurious rooms and suites, a variety of restaurants to suit any palette, a first-class spa, swimming pool, saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzi, conference facilities, and an exquisite, one-of-a-kind wedding garden, the traditional Mongolian hospitality welcomes and warms each guest throughout their stay.

Terelj Hotel and Tereljmaa Spa unite the traditional and contemporary in design and decoration. From the classical moldings and inlaid marble floors, rooms outfitted in velvet and chenille, regional antiques, contemporary local artwork, the visual experience extends from the Terelj National Park throughout the hotel’s interior.

The resort is proud to present the finest of Mongolian products throughout the hotel and in the specialty boutiques offering the opportunity to bring home a little of Mongolia.
